PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Logistics management is an important factor in the success of manufacturing operations and has a direct impact on the final outcome. The overall scope of logistics management usually includes many factors such as: transport management, shipping, inventory, delivery of materials, meeting demand, and more. Many companies are looking to independent logistics providers to help manage these seemingly simple things, but they are really very complex in implementation.

This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge, skills and competencies required to plan and control materials in the workplace. As well as planning an appropriate amount of materials to reduce the costs of stock retention and provide adequate preventive measures against theft. Once the training is completed, participants will be able to apply their new skills directly in their daily work environment.

This course relies on the use of individual and group debriefs. The course also features the use of several case studies and presentations by participants followed by plenary discussions. In addition, videos and exercises are used to demonstrate the skills required for effective supervision.
