Creativity in the workplace has become a necessity for Innovation-Driven organizations and no longer an option. Many organizations today are striving to have a more creative and innovative workplace but fail to give attention to whether or not employees even like their workplace environment. A negative workplace climate is not conducive to risk-taking – ultimately choking out the seed of creativity. Providing a creative culture in the organization will enhance the creative ability of the employees as well as increase results.

Creativity Monitoring to Drive Business Growth is a workshop that helps to make individuals aware of their own creative abilities and track the abilities of their team. The training modules that have been developed for this workshop can be used in any sequence, and their contents and duration can be adjusted to each specific team or work environment. The module is supported by established management science and psychological theories related to work and organizational psychology. Through the use of assignments, participants put the theories into practice for themselves and their organizations.

An assessment of creativity climate, skills and techniques which covers innovation and entrepreneurship indexing will be offered to the participants. The assessment helps the participants to be able to analyze the creativity climate of their work environment and better their performance. The assessment questionnaire reveals any bottlenecks in the organization on an individual level, team level, or senior management level.

Humphrey Akanazu, Bphil, MSC, MA, Ph.D

Mr. Akanazu Humphrey Okechukwu is a Management Consultant/Training and Development Specialist. He comes from a rich background of Management Education where he has had most of his career. Humphrey has three Masters Degrees from three different reputable universities in Europe. A Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the prestigious University of Valladolid Spain, he specialized in Social and Organizational Psychology.

He has hands-on experience in the design, delivery, co-ordination, facilitation and administration of training and development initiatives in Nigerian major cities as well as across Europe and United Arab Emirates. He has assisted in carrying out many Human Resources and Organizational Development projects across various sectors. Humphrey also interviews and recruits for various companies.

Humphrey worked as a researcher at the Interfaces of Psychology, Spain in 2011. He has also worked as researcher with the Finance and Bank Association (Associazione Effebi), Italy on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), Quality Assurance in Learning Organization in the Banking and Financial Sector in Europe (QUALOBSTER), European Banking Network for Quality Assurance (EUROBANQUA), Financial Services EQF Translator (FIRST) among other research projects with international organizations. He is well experienced in entrepreneurship development, which he also practices through his numerous business partnerships with reputable companies and institutions, both local and foreign.
