Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is a process to ensure that assets continue to do what their users require in their present operating context. RCM incorporates Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities, along with Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) and other actions (e.g., redesign, procedural changes or technology upgrades) to provide an optimal balance to achieve greater reliability and lower life-cycle costs. Successful implementation of RCM will lead to increase in cost effectiveness, machine uptime, and a greater understanding of the level of risk that the organization is managing.

Engr. A.  Sunday - B. Eng., M. Eng. MNIMechE., MNIM., PMP., LEAD AUDITOR,(OHSAS), ADVANCE Maintenance Planning Engineer (CPE). A seasoned Operations/Execution/Planning and Inspection Engineer with over Fifteen (15) years' industry experience involving Plant Commissioning, Upgrades and Maintenance; Engineering Planning, Project Implementation and ERP Implementation (SAP PM). Experienced SAP (System Application and Package) Super User and Functional Lead on Plant Maintenance (PM) Module. Enthusiastic communicator with proven analytical skills to develop detailed reports. Ability to diagnose, and proffer solution to technical problems. Engr. Sunday will be joined by other maintenance professional to share their experience on this program.

Engr. Ola Popoola. B. Sc; M. Sc; MBA; R. Engr; FNSE; FNIM; FNIPSM. The managing director/ceo of Mechelectric Associates Limited, Apapa.Former Group Technical Manager of Aeromaritime Group of Companies, Nigeria. Former Contract & Business Development Manager at GAC, Nigeria with dedicated responsibility for Joint Ventures Oil & Gas Process Design, Implementation & Innovation in the FPSO Operations.  Engr. Ola has worked in Operations, Project Engineering/Project Management, Process Troubleshooting, Process Improvements, and Reliability Centred Maintenance management programs. Coordinates plant reliability efforts in the areas of root cause analysis and defect elimination. He will join others to share their experiences on this program.
