Outline
•This module will share some experiences of both the care worker and the person living
with dementia
• The module will explain what dementia is and the common types
and symptoms of dementia
• It will allow care workers to identify
how symptoms of dementia behaviours can be
interpreted into feelings
•This module will discover the importance of communication and behaviours when
supporting a person living with dementia. It will allow care workers to identify how
behaviours can be interpreted into feelings.
•This module will explain person-centred approach principles when supporting a person
living with dementia. It will allow care workers to identify how important it is to have a good knowledge of the history and life of the person living with dementia in order to understand behaviours

Our UK program includes the CARE CERTIFICATE as well as accredited CPD verifiable in the UK.
Some of these courses can be offered online and you will be required to receive hands-on training in our care home or other home of your choosing.
