In the private sector, company directors are responsible for determining policy, monitoring performance and taking corrective action if either policy or its implementation is defective.  Internal control provides a means of assurance that corporate objectives are being achieved.  Internal control systems are therefore fundamental to the success and survival of organizations. 

 

At the end of this training, participants will have a grip understanding of the best practices in internal control processes, international standards, auditing and compliance to manage risk in the organization.
