Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) course will training participants on ways to manage, control and handle all aspects of health, safety and the environment across all industries with the focus on major accident risk. This program covers foundational skills every beginner needs to know, from the theories and practical of occupational health and safety, emergency planning and environmental management.
Course Objectives
The aim of this course is to enable participants learn:
- To Evaluate workplace to determine the existence of workplace hazards
- To Identify relevant regulatory standards and its applications.
- To Select appropriate control measures based on the hierarchy of controls
- To Analyze accident and incident records and illness data for assessments
- To understand the skills, principles, and practices of workplace safety
- To understand and create health and safety policies and procedures in the workplace
Course Duration
Classroom study mode is covered in 4 days (usually weekends). While the online study mode runs for 30days. The total program consists of a recommended 11 learning hours and 5 personal study hours to complete and be fully prepared for the examination.

The HSE training course is a necessity for everyone new to health, safety, and the environment. Program is ideal for those seeking to work in safety-related positions that require broader legal and technical knowledge to function effectively. Also essential for young graduates.
Mode of Study, Fees and Payment Plan
This program consists of 3 levels (HSE level 1-3) and is covered in 2 modes of study – the classroom and online modes. The Classroom mode cost NGN60,000 while the Online mode cost NGN45,000 for full package. The fees cover the training, examination registration, study materials, practical, and other related materials.
We allow flexible payment plan of up to 3 instalments before examination and special discounts for serving National Youth Serving Corp members.

Mode of Examination
On completion of the HSE training, the candidates will be required to seat for an international examination online. The exam covers General HSE level 1 (containing 100 questions); HSE level 2 (containing 50 questions) and HSE level 3 (containing 50 questions).
0 - 49% is Fail, 50 - 69% is Pass, 70 - 79% is Credit and 80 - 100% is Distinction.
When will I receive my results and Certificates if successful?
Results are released 50 working days after the examination and sent directly to your email address. Successful candidates will receive their certificates for units passed within 20 working days after receiving results. Certificates will be dispatched to your study center.
